Great thoughts, Mia. But I was wondering, do you ever have the problem of over-thinking, like many humans do? I am one who does worry and over-think at times. But I do like how you live in the moment; so maybe I should try to do the same. Again, I enjoyed your thoughts very much.

Mr. John,

I DO have times when I over-think. Most dogs do. I took an online course that helped me a lot and now have my Certificate in Not Thinking. It calls me down a lot. Of course, periods of not thinking also have some side effects. Zoomies, for example. And, apparently, digging a hole in the grass for no particular reason. But those things can apparently be managed, according to Daddy. Also, I have found I can stoop over-thinking in its tracks with a good nap.

Thanks for writing!

Malcolm Gladwell wrote a book called “What the Dog Saw” but how could he know what the dog sees…thinking on that.

Ms. Michelle,

I haven't read that book. I got dizzy reading the introduction to "Tipping Point" and have not picked up any of Mr. Malcolm's books since.

Let me know what you figure out.

Mia, I was thinking I’d like to hear your thoughts about why birds fly but dogs don’t? Why will dogs never have wings? (Tom Petty) Would you like to fly? Just thinking.

Mr. Roger,

I'll look into that. I've met a couple of bird dogs, but they mostly swim. Perhaps they are flightless bird dogs. Thanks for the idea!
