Well I am sure I have never been so enlightened about smell. Mia is my mentor. Ask Mia why my smeller is different than my younger smeller. For instance fried chicken no longer smells good but actually has an offensive flavor to it. My heart palpitates waiting Mia-knowledge. Go!
From Mia: Hi, Les! I did some intense research and there seem to be 3 likely reasons why your smelling faculties are off. (1) something happened when you were sick sometime - maybe COVID or something; (2) some medicine may be altering the chemical balance of your smelling membranes; or (3) all that nonsense about fried foods being bad for you has subconsciously impacted your ability to enjoy the finer things in life. In any case, you may be stuck without fried chicken from now on. Sorry.

That explains much about Cheyenne and his constant sniffing on our walk. Cheyenne thinks Mia is bringing great honor to their dog world.
